A comparison. . .

The poor becomes poorer and the rich becomes richer. This is the common answer we get when you ask an individual, regarding the Philippine Economy. With this in mind we can only question, is the growth in economy that extraneous that ordinary individuals does not see and feel the change? Then who is to blame? Is it the government and the officials that is lacking in term of action?
With the continued rise in the cost of our basic commodities, we can only wonder what they are doing to prevent this. We can only look at our life and what the government has done for us. But, have you ever questioned yourself what have you done for the country?
We point fingers looking for something to blame for our shortcomings. But, have you ever stopped and considered the situation? Yes, you are poor, but have you done anything to avoid or remedy it?
Unemployment is a major factor in being poor. This may stem from lack of education. Education is the primary qualification to being employed . It has a large impact in the further Degradation of Society.
Also, we can look at the problem of over population. Lower level society is significantly higher than its counterpart in terms of family size. Look at a poor family and the first thing you can observe is that they have more children than they can provide for. More mouth to feed means more money to be spent, money which you do not have. If you cant feed them properly, how else can you send your children to school to get a good education, education that is needed to be employed.
Looking at the upper society, you will notice that they have less children. Their children is well provided for, well feed and can be sent to schools for their education. These give them the necessary advantage to stay ahead.
Not everyone started out rich, they come to be with proper planning, hardwork and education. They planned for their future by doing what is needed to succeed. They are not pointing fingers when they fail, and they just simply wont give up. This is the winning formula that they used in order to succeed. They are under the same government as a poor, but they provide for themselves and not ask the government to provide for them.
The government is just a group of people who control and make decisions for a country. It is powerless without the support of the people.
